It's a glorious week in May and the sun is shining brightly and it would seem that there are weddings going on everywhere!
We have a wedding party at Iliada Villas at the moment and they have taken over 6 of the villas and it's great to see so many new faces here. They ventured out en-masse this morning to the Waterpark. I haven't seen them come back yet so I think they've decided to make a whole day of it. Easy to do at the Waterpark, the kids are usually tired before we are! They have been out and about in Coral Bay, sampling the fine culinary delights and are heading out for a meze at the local taverna in the next few nights.
Harris, our resident donkey, is loving all the attention from the kids and I'm sure his food intake has trebled since they all arrived, he's such an attention seeker!!
The season has well and truly started for us now and it'll be a busy few months. It's great to meet all the new and returning guests when they come over and hear their tales from Blighty or wherever else they may hail from.
Summer is definitely upon us!

Iliada 3
Family Holidays
I've been getting a lot of people asking if the villas are suitable for young children, so thought I would give a few reasons why Iliada Villas is perfect.
We are on a private road, so no through traffic, lots of garden area for games and of course we have Harris our resident donkey who loves carrots and any other treats his visitors may bring him. We are walking distance to mini golf and amusement arcade, a short drive to George's ranch for some horseriding, and there are lots of water sports available at Coral Bay beach which is a 15-20 minute stroll from the villas.
You can sit back and relax knowing that the kids are having a great time and still in view of you.

We've also been working on the gardens of Iliada 1 & 2 to make sure everyone gets a cracking view from the villas.

Wedding Fever
Yesterday was fabulous, I had a couple come round to the villas for a tour. They've just booked their wedding for next May and are arranging their accommodation for the guests. They were a lovely couple and it was hard not to get caught up in the wedding fever us girls sometimes get. Talks of honeymoons, dresses, photos etc just gets me giddy.
They wanted a few villas which were next to each other and they just loved the views from Iliada 8 & 9. The location is just perfect as well for any guests with children as there is no through traffic so this is an added bonus.
I can't wait for more details on their wedding!

Iliada 7

This is one of our bungalow style villas with 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom and a seperate shower room. Open plan lounge and dining area with the french windows leading onto your patio and out to the pool.
This villa gets lots of natural sunlight streaming through the windows and like the other villas, the garden area offers additional space for kids to play in.
Iliada 8

Another deluxe villa set on the crest of the private road. Again with 3 bedrooms with ensuites, large balconies and plenty of out door space to relax in.
The pool has roman steps in so not a problem for young children or those with mobility difficulties.
Envious views, you can just imagine watching the sunsetting with a glass of wine or a keo!
Just perfect for your Cyprus holiday.

I'll kick off by introducing the villas that we have.
This is Iliada 9 which is probably my favourite due to it's location. Perched on the top of the private road, it has the most glorious, unobstucted views over the Med. It's got landscaped gardens and the interior finish is just lush!
3 bedrooms all with ensuite, gorgeous mahogany kitchen with all mod cons including dishwasher. illiadasvillas

It's a gorgeous sunny day here in Cyprus, cool breeze coming up from the sea, perfect temperature for me!
I walked down to work today to be met by our current guests in Iliada Villa 6, lovely chap, Manchester United fan, we were discussing the upcoming Man U - Chelsea match. He's also a brave man, he was in the pool yesterday. I'll be giving it a few weeks before I venture in, water still a bit cold for me, but perfect for people coming on holiday from Blighty!
Started this blog today, quite excited about my on line diary of Iliada Villas.
The profile picture is of Harris our donkey, he's currently having a lie down, probably due to the vast amount of food and company he receives on a daily basis, he'll be resting himself for the afternoon visits from his local fans! Must be at his best!
